Life in Maui

Let's assume that the average Hawaiian vacation is 10 days.   I was fortunate enough to live there for two and a half years and that was an amazing experience.    Even on an island, you can never do it all...but I tried.

Here's a sampling of what you can do in Maui.  Enjoy!

Road Trip:  Drive the Back Road to Hana and Hike the Pipiwai Trail

Where did I take friends and family when they came to visit?  Sometimes it was this waterfall.
Check out my Welcome to Maui 48  Hour Tour!

I like to hike, do you?   There are so many different hikes - volcano crater to the coast.   Here's a list of the hikes that I've done. If you're really committed, do the Really Long Haleakala Hike.

Whale season is the best season.   Proof here, here and here.

But if you're here in the summer (not whale season), it's Obon Festival season.

Road Trip:  Makena State Park to the end of the road

Road Trip:  Go Upcountry and check out the winery,  the goats, and the country farm.

Eat and drink all the things.   Here's my list.
